Southchip's SC6010 AMOLED PMIC and SC8565A charge pump charging chip have been integrated into ZTE's M153 AI smartphone supply chain, providing robust power support for the large-model applications and super apps of AI phones.
Recently, ZTE launched the M153 AI phone, equipped with Doubao Mobile Assistant. It embeds an AI Agent at the system level, capable of executing complex instructions across applications and completing composite tasks, reshaping the industry landscape as an "AI-native phone."
The high computing power demands of on-device AI large models pose more severe challenges to the power consumption management of mobile devices. Network testing data shows that the introduction of AI features increases overall device power consumption by over 10%. To address this, the M153 adopts a combined strategy of "high-efficiency chips + large battery + fast charging."

SC6010 is a high-performance AMOLED PMIC, packaged in a compact 2.015mm x 2.015mm WLCSP. It integrates two boost converters (controlling the AVDD and ELVDD channels) and one inverting buck-boost converter (controlling the ELVSS channel). All output voltages can be precisely digitally programmed via the host pins. Optimized for the typical 2.9V–4.5V power supply environment of mobile devices, the SC6010 employs technologies such as high-frequency switching, synchronous rectification topology, and pulse-skip mode. This maximizes system efficiency while minimizing the size of external inductors and capacitors. The SC6010 delivers excellent output voltage regulation and line transient performance. Its ELVDD channel seamlessly switches between boost and buck modes while maintaining ultra-low output voltage ripple. SC8565A is a high-efficiency, high-power charge pump charging chip in a 4.955mm x 3.735mm CSP package. It integrates 17 low-impedance MOSFETs internally, supporting 4:1/2:1/1:1 buck conversion and reverse 1:4/1:2/1:1 boost conversion. The SC8565A is optimized for a 50% duty cycle, reducing the cable current to one-fourth of the battery-side current. This significantly decreases power loss in the charging cable and effectively controls temperature rise.
