Synchronous, Bi-directional Buck-Boost Full Integrated Charger Converter with I2C interface

SC8911 is a synchronous buck-boost charger, which supports buck mode, boost mode and buck-boost mode during forward charging or reverse discharging operation. SC8911 manages both 2 cells Li-ion and LiFePO4 of battery charging, supporting trickle charge, pre-charge, constant current charge, constant voltage charge and automatic termination. The battery discharging mode supports wide output range from 3.3V to 21V. Through I2C interface, user can set the charging/discharging mode easily, and program the charging current, charging voltage, input voltage regulation, input current limit, OTG output voltage adjustment, current limits and other parameters flexibly. SC8911 also provides various monitoring functions, including input current/voltage, battery current/voltage, junction temperature, and output current for 3 ports. SC8911 supports full protection including port and battery over-voltage protection, output over-voltage protection, battery and output under-voltage, cycle by cycle current limit and thermal-shutdown protection. SC8911 is available in a 4mm x 5mm QFN-27 package.
