SC8802C High Efficiency, Synchronized, Bidirectional Buck Boost Charger Controller
SC8802C is a synchronous bidirectional Buck-Boost charger controller. Regardless of whether the input voltage is lower than, higher than, or equal to the battery pack voltage, it can manage the charging of the battery pack, including trickle, constant current, constant voltage stage, and full charge indication. When the system needs to discharging from the battery pack, SC8802C can output the required voltage in reverse, and can output values lower than, higher than, or equal to the battery pack voltage. The SC8802C supports very wide input and output voltage range. It can support applications from 2.7V to 30V input range and meet the different needs of customers from 1 to 6 lithium batteries. The driver voltage is set to 10V to fully utilize external MOSFETs for highest efficiency. SC8802C supports bidirectional output, and the working direction can be easily controlled through the DIR pin. The SC8802C supports input current limit, output current limit and over temperature protections to ensure safety under different abnormal conditions. SC8802C can be used to support supercapacitor applications by adding peripheral components, and reverse discharge can support up to 1.5V ultra-low voltage. The SC8802C adopts 32 pin QFN 4x4 package.
