36V Automotive Buck-Boost Converter with I2C Interface
The SC8749Q is a buck-boost converter with four integrated power switches capable of regulating the output voltage at, above, or below the input voltage. The SC8749Q operates over 3.7V to 36V wide input voltage and can output 2.5V to 20V voltage to support a variety of applications.
The SC8749Q is suitable for a variety of multi-purpose automotive and industrial applications such as ADAS and automotive lighting application.
The SC8749Q employs current mode control scheme. The quasi-constant switching frequency could be set at 200kHz/400kHz/600kHz/1MHz through I2C. The SC8749Q also provides optional spread spectrum to optimize EMI performance.
The SC8749Q offers output over-voltage protection, cycle-by-cycle current limit, output under-voltage protection, input-over-voltage and thermal shutdown protection.
The SC8749Q is available in 34-pin 4mm x 5mm x 0.85mm wettable flank QFN packages.
