SC71220AQ
16V/1.2A, High-Performance ASIL B Dual Channels High Side Switch for Automotive Camera Module
The SC71220AQ is a high-performance dual channels high side switch for automotive camera modules which can deliver up to 1.2A load per channel. Each output channel is individually protected from short-to-battery, short-to-ground, and overcurrent conditions. The device operates from a 3V to 16V input supply. A back-to-back MOSFET configuration achieves up to 28V short-to-battery protection.
The device provides an enable input and I2C interface to read the diagnostic status of the device. An on-board ADC enables reading of the current through each switch. The ASIL B and ASIL D-compliant versions include support for reading an additional seven diagnostic measurements through the ADC, ensuring high-fault coverage.
The device includes overtemperature shutdown and overcurrent limiting on each output channel separately. All devices are designed to operate from -40℃ to +125℃ ambient temperature.
The device communicates to the MCU via the I2C interface. The device supports up to 8 addresses setting by ADDR pin and factory.
As a functional safety device, SC71220AQ is an ASIL B compliant part, providing well-developed monitoring and diagnostics with an internal ADC. Related safety documents are also provided to aid functional safety design.
The SC71220AQ is available in 20-pin 4mm x 4mm QFN package.
